Information we collect

When someone requests a quote or a business manages a customer relationship, we may collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses and ZIP codes, job details, form answers, photos, contact preferences, and generated estimate ranges.

We may also collect a visitor or browser identifier, pages viewed, referring page, source and campaign parameters such as UTM values, and advertising click-attribution data when those values are present. We use this information to operate the requested service, understand where requests came from, prevent abuse, and measure conversion.

Website Chat and AI processing

Website Chat is an AI assistant. Messages are processed by our AI and service providers to answer questions and continue a quote request. Messages and AI replies may be retained as part of the service conversation so the business can review and follow up.

A chat may be linked to the same service opportunity as a quote, SMS conversation, or inbound phone call using an opaque visitor identifier, an exact phone number, an exact email address, or a secure handoff token. Raw chat text stays in the chat conversation records; it is not copied into the permanent Opportunity History event stream.

Cross-channel Opportunity History

Quick Quote Gen may associate website activity, quote requests, chat, SMS, inbound phone, scheduling, job, payment, and owner-reported outcome activity that relates to the same service opportunity. This helps the contacted business follow up and measure conversion. Permanent Opportunity History events contain minimal structured facts, such as an event type, channel, time, and related record identifier—not raw chat text, call transcripts, customer contact fields, or full message bodies.

Inbound AI receptionist

An inbound call to a participating business may be handled by an automated AI assistant. Speech may be processed and transcribed in real time to answer the call, collect request details, route urgent calls, and provide the service. The active product is configured not to retain call audio recordings as a customer feature. Structured call summaries, requested actions, and outcomes may be stored for the business.

SMS text messages

Business owners may receive internal lead alerts. Customers receive service messages only when appropriate consent has been collected. Message frequency varies with quote and job activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

On the public quote form, the optional checkbox is labeled “I agree to be contacted about my quote request (optional)” and states: “By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages about your quote and job, including follow-ups, appointment reminders, and a review request, at the number provided. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.” “Optional — you'll still get your quote either way.” It is not pre-checked and is not required to request a quote. No mobile information, text-message opt-in data, or consent is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Quick Quote Gen does not store full payment-card details. Payment and accounting records may be retained where required for billing, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or other legal obligations.

How information is used and shared

We use information to provide and secure the service, deliver customer communications, support businesses, process payments, diagnose errors, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with the business contacted and service-provider categories needed to operate Quick Quote Gen, including hosting and database infrastructure, AI processing, telephony and SMS, email delivery, payment processing, and error monitoring and observability.

Retention, deletion, and requests

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide and secure the service and meet legal, accounting, tax, dispute, and fraud-prevention obligations. We do not promise one fixed retention period for every record. Business owners have a control to delete business operational and customer data; account, subscription, security, audit, and legally required billing records may remain.

Customers may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to identity verification and legal retention requirements.
